Summary: this is a terrific looking, unused fillet knife made by Jimmy Lile. It is an early knife with a long 9-1/8" blade, script signed "Hand Made by James B. Lile – For Bill Vick". This knife has a single brass hilt and single finger grip stag handle, overall length is approximately 14-1/8". Uncommon single finger grip stag configuration, beautiful color.
Condition: unused and excellent+++ or better, you'll find a few very light peppering spots on the blade and very light wipe marks on the hilt. The knife has been in my collection for quite some time, it's been stored out of the sheath since I acquired it years ago.
The early sheath is original to the knife, fit is perfect. You'll find nothing more than a scuff or two, no noticeable flaws and easily in excellent+++ condition.
8 photos for review – as shown, a new black canvas case is included. This is a very hard model to find in this blade length with this handle configuration, harder still to find one script signed and named to an individual. It's a great knife – a perfect piece for holiday use or collection purposes. Thanks and good luck.
