Description

Summary: two very early Lile Arkansas Toothpick's that were originally owned by the late Tom Clinton. I've owned them since he passed away, neither has been used or resharpened. Photos 1 through 5 of the first knife, the second knife shown in photos 6 through 11.

Knife 1: photos 1 through 5

Arkansas Toothpick
11-7/8" Tool Steel Blade
Script-Signed "Hand Made by James B. Lile"
Very Unique Brass Guard
Crown Stag Handle
Overall Length: 17-1/2"

Knife 2: photos 6 through 11

Arkansas Toothpick
12-1/2" Tool Steel Blade
Script-Signed "Hand Made by James B. Lile"
Double Brass Guard
Brass / Red Spacers
Crown Stag Handle
Overall Length: 18-1/2"
Hang Tag from Marilyn: "designed & made by J. Lile 1971"

Condition on both are about the same: excellent with a few light handling marks if you look hard. The longer of the two has a few light spots on the blade, the shorter with patina on the guard I chose to leave alone.

Neither of these two T.P.'s ever had sheaths so I've included a Maxpedition carry case for each.

11 photos total for review – as far as early Jimmy Lile Arkansas Toothpick's are concerned, they don't get much better than this. Great knives for collection & display – thanks and good luck.
