Description

Summary: a total of 50 Jolliet & Marquette Bowie Knives were made by Jimmy Lile to commemorate the Tri-Centennial celebration of Marquette & Jolliet's 1673 exploration of the Mississippi River. This knife is made with an 8" D2 steel blade, double brass hilt, and gorgeous pinned amber stag slabbed handle. Most notable about this knife: it's No. 13... Jimmy's favorite number.

Condition is unused / excellent+++ or better with nothing but a few light marks on the blade and light handling marks on the guard. Original edge and finish, beautiful knife with fabulous stag.

The sheath is original to the knife and the fit is perfect. Excellent condition with just light handling marks on both sides.

8 photos for review – the knife will be shipped in a new black canvas carry case. These rarely (and I mean RARELY) come up for sale, this one's quite special as it is adorned with Jimmy's favorite #13 serial number. Great piece for collection / investment purposes – thanks and good luck.
