Summary: this an unused script signed Lile Regular 7 with beautiful wood scales. An early 1970's knife -- the blade is script signed "Hand Made by James B. Lile". The overall length of the knife is 8-5/8". The 4-1/4" blade with original edge, priced to sell due to the light staining on the back side of the blade shown in photo 8. Handle scales are the vintage brown micarta material, drilled at the tail for a wrist thong. The knife is in original condition with only the brass cleaned... just the lightest of patina / wipe marks on the brass hilt and pins.
The knife is paired with a sterile Lamb-style ambidextrous pouch sheath made by Vaughn Neeley. Brand new and just like (if not better) than the original shop issue sheaths -- no carry wear, storage marks, scuffs or handling. Mint condition.
8 photos for review -- as shown, a black canvas carry case is included. If you're looking for a very early, unused Lile Regular 7 at a "snap me up and carry me daily" price, this would be the knife to buy. This particular Regular 7 was from the collection owned by the late Tom Clinton, it's one hell of a knife. Thanks and good luck.
