Summary: a great knife for the Lile collector who might be looking for a beauty to use, this is an unused script signed Lile Regular 7 in damn near perfect condition but for an area of carbon staining on the back side of the blade. (see photo 4) An early 1970's knife -- the blade is script signed "Hand Made by James B. Lile". The 4-1/8" blade with original edge, a bit of patina / tarnish / wipe marks on the brass hilt and pins. The knife is in original condition and has not been cleaned -- one of many from the same collector who purchased knives directly from Jimmy 35+ years ago.

The knife is paired with the original shop stamped ambidextrous pouch sheath in excellent+++ or better condition. No carry wear and never on a belt, you’ll be hard pressed to find a 45+ year old sheath in better shape. Just a few light handling marks, all minor.

7 photos for review -- as shown, a black canvas carry case is included. If you've been looking for a few very collectible Lile knives for investment purposes, this and any sister knives from the same collection would be great knives to buy and tuck away. This one’s a killer deal with the brown micarta scales, simply discounted due to the area of staining on the back side of the blade. Get over it... it’s a kick ass early Lile in the original pouch sheath! Thanks and good luck.
