Summary: this is a discontinued / unused Mad Dog Knives "Rat Thing", 4-1/2" Starrett 496-01 blade with combat finish. Double-edged and 3/16” stock, Mad Dog trademark on the back side of the blade. The handle material is the proprietary glass / epoxy composite -- compression bonded to the hidden full tang and incredibly ergonomic. This knife exhibits no use and has original blade edges, looks new.

The knife comes with two MD-issue sheaths: one highride and one slip sheath. Very light scuffing on the sheaths and on a couple of the rivets, quite minor and easily excellent+++ condition.
