Summary: this is a Colin Cox (RIP) hollow handle survival knife with 10" stainless blade, stainless guard, knurled hollow handle, and stainless skull crusher butt cap with compass. Survival gear down in the handle, I'll leave that to the buyer to unpack. The blade looks to have somewhat of a hand rubbed finish, certainly original with original edges. (top clip IS sharp) Overall length is 16-1/4", condition is unused / excellent+++ or better with just a few marks on the back blade flat from sheath insertion. (see photo 10)
The brown belt sheath is original to the knife and has the Cox Knives stamp on the back belt loop. It's quite well made with a stone pouch / sharpening stone, excellent condition with just a few handling marks.
10 photos for review – as shown, a black carry case is included. Colin passed away back in 2013, he was very well known for making custom survival knives. This knife is no exception, it's made from 1/4" stock and is simply a beast. I've seen a few Cox survival knives with shorter blades, can't recall ever seeing or selling anything quite like this. Long story short: if you're like me and love custom hollow handle survival knives, this and several others I have for sale are all quite rare and collectible. Thanks and good luck.
