Summary: this is a custom hammer marked skinner made by James Behring, Jr. This was one knife in a matching set (both now listed), the knives did not sell as a set so I've split them up. This knife has a 4-3/4" hammer marked blade, copper guard, and crow's beak burlwood handle. The knife has never been used, you'll find patina on the copper guard (will easily buff away) and very light peppering starting to form on the blade. (really only visible if you turn the blade in direct light)
The knife is paired to a custom pouch sheath made by Kenny Rowe. Front side tooling, the knife / sheath fit is perfect. Near mint condition, just a few light handling marks.
6 photos for review – as shown, a new black canvas carry case is included. This is a gorgeous knife perfect the collector, it would be an awesome field knife to use on a regular basis. Priced more like a user than a new knife due to the light peppering on the blade – thanks and good luck.
