Description

Summary: this James Behring, Jr. handmade skinner has a 3-3/4" hand forged blade, brass guard, short spacer stack and really nice light stag handle fitted with a compass. (waterproof & glows in the dark) A knife perfect EDC or hunting / fishing, perfect size. The pinned stag handle looks great, the knife feels great in either hand. The OAL is 7-3/4”, excellent+++ condition with just light patina on the brass guard and two small pencil tip sized carbon spots on the front side towards the tip.

The knife comes with the original tooled leather belt sheath made by Jack Mosher. Unique sheath as it’s a slip / concealment sheath without any belt loops or slits. Streamline… perfect for inside the belt carry. The knife / sheath fit is perfect, quality is exceptional. Near mint condition with just a light rub or two.

7 photos for review -- as shown, a new black canvas carry case is included. This great size hunting knife will serve you well in the field, also an excellent choice for collection / investment purposes as it’s one of JR’s Michigan-made blades. Don’t miss out on these early JR’s I have for sale, his early stuff is only going to appreciate over time. Thanks and good luck.
