Summary: this is a vintage Timberline Survival Chute and original belt sheath. Serial #002SF on the back side blade flat, Timberline logo on the front. The sharpened edge measures 5-1/2", tip to black micarta scales is 6-1/4". The knife was made with pinned black micarta scales (perfect condition), an integral lanyard hole on the exposed tang. The knife has never been used and has the original edges, easily excellent or better condition with nothing but light rub marks on the flats and a circular mark on the back side blade where the sheath snap came in contact with the blade when the knife was inserted in the sheath.

The belt sheath is original to the knife and is in excellent condition. You will find handling marks and a few scuffs on both sides, all relatively minor and no big deal.

Bonus: multi-color 550 paracord survival bracelet. Made in the USA, easy to use / wear / carry, and unraveled gives you just about 14 feet of lifesaving cord that will look great wrapped around your wrist until you need it.

10 photos for review – as shown, a new black canvas carry case is included. This is a very early Timberline Survival Chute with the incredibly low serial number of 002, a rare find in this unused condition. Check out the photos, this one would be perfect for use or collection purposes. The serial number leaves virtually no room to upgrade, it's an awesome find. Thanks and good luck.
