Summary: here's one you don't see everyday or on any given day, a 1980's STAG HANDLED Walter Brend subhilt fighting knife and original Johnson sheath.

This beauty has a 7-1/2" blade with a mirror polished finish and was made from 3/16” blade stock. It’s simply stunning, overall length is just a hair under 12-1/2”. Top clip is sharp, the blade looks brand new. The handle is comprised of deep cut stag scales with silver guards and pins, both sides match beautifully. The tail end lined and drilled for a lanyard, overall condition is near mint with nothing but very minor handling marks. 3/16" blade stock, thin black tang liners, simply and exceptional fighting knife.

The Johnson sheath is original to the knife and comes with the original lanyards. Johnson stamp on the front belt loop, if it looks familiar it's because Johnson was making sheaths back in the 1980's for both Jimmy Lile and Randall Made Knives. (and others!) The sheath is in excellent+++ or better condition, a few light handling marks here and there and a verdigris stain around the keeper strap snap.

10 photos for review – as shown, a new black canvas carry case is included. This is an awesome, very collectible Brend knife purchased from the original owner who said he bought the knife directly from Walter back in the 1980's. If you can live with the light verdigris stain around the keeper strap snap and a few light sheath handling marks, you’re only a few mouse clicks away from owning a very special, unique and rare knife. This is an amazing piece… don't miss out. Thanks and good luck
