Summary: a previously owned, unused Randall 16-7 "Special Fighter". The knife has never been carried, original edges (clip is sharp!) with no signs of use. Upgraded / optional nickel silver hilt, I believe the Border Patrol red micarta was also optional. While cleaning up the hilt, I noticed an area of light / small scratches (see close-up photo 9), a simple repair for the guys at the RMK shop but not something simichrome or the like will take care of. Looks horrible in the close up, in normal / natural light it’s barely noticeable. In any event and due to the blemish, I’m offering the knife below market value.
The knife is paired with the original brown Sullivan A sheath with an unused plain salmon stone in the front pouch. The sheath is in excellent+++ or better condition, just a few handling marks here and there with a light line at the throat from past knife storage.
9 photos for review – as shown, a new embroidered RMK carry case is included. This is an excellent knife for military use, damn near indestructible with the full tang construction. Looks new – a very good deal at $525 and fabulous for someone looking for a dressed up #16-7 for everyday carry / use. Thanks and good luck.
