Summary: a previously owned long-bladed Randall #18 with tool steel blade, brass guard, hollow handle with cord wrap (not original) and knurled brass butt cap with no compass. This knife looks to have been carried and gently used, full blade in great shape but in “user” condition and not a sock drawer queen. Overall, I’d rate the knife an 8 out of 10, there are very light buff scratches and a few spots on the blade, tarnish / handling marks on the brass guard and butt cap. I’m not sure who did the handle wrap but they did a fabulous job.
The sheath is a brown model C made by Sullivan. No lanyards, the original Fine India sharpening stone in the front pouch. All stitching tight, you’ll find handling marks on both the front and back. Like the knife, the sheath is about an 8 on a scale of 1 to 10.
7 photos for review – as shown, an old AZCK carry case is included. This is the perfect knife if you’ve been looking for a Randall model #18 in great user condition, a lifetime of service left and it won’t break the bank. Thanks and good luck.
