Summary: a very rare Randall Stoddard’s Special with single finger grip ivory handle carved by David Warther. This was the second ivory Stoddard’s knife carved by Mr. Warther, the first had a Purple Heart carving. This knife has a squared nickel silver hilt, custom spacers, and nickel silver butt cap drilled for a lanyard. This knife has never been used, without the crack it’s probably worth a couple grand or more. While it’s a bargain at this price, it all boils down to whether or not you can live with the crack. It may close in a more humid environment, it may not. Long story short: I’m not an expert when it comes to second guessing ivory.

The knife is paired to the original black Sullivan model A sheath correctly stamped SS on the back. Never on a belt... excellent+++ or better condition with an unused plain salmon stone in the front pouch.

8 photos for review (this exact knife ‘pre-crack’ with another ivory Stoddard’s in the last picture) – as shown, a new RMK carry case is included. Thanks and good luck.
