Summary: this is an early 1950's Randall #1-7 Fighting knife with ivory handle. The knife is in excellent condition for it's age, ivory with a check or two and one crack on the underside of the handle. (see photo 9) This knife has a 7" blade, nickel silver hilt, 7 spacers, commando ivory handle, and dura butt with steel nut. The blade has some light marks and peppering on both sides, cleaned up a few times over the years but still quite nice. The ivory has the above mentioned crack, common for this handle material. The dura butt with a few light handling marks and one scuff along the edge, all quite normal for a knife this age.
The wide flap Heiser sheath is simply gorgeous, nothing but a few scuffs on the front and JRB written in ink below the belt loop on the back. Brown Randall-logo buttons, an unused (and rare) fish hook stone in the pouch.
11 photos for review – as shown, a new Randall carry case is included. This knife is on consignment, the owner is currently entertaining offers. Please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org if you would like to make an offer on this knife. Thank you.
