Summary: this is a 1960's Randall model #1-8 outfitted as follows: 8-1/8" tool steel blade, lugged brass guard, and commando shaped stacked leather handle. A duralumin butt cap and nut on the back end complete the knife. Original owners name shop etched on the blade, Richard Cunningham. The knife is in original condition, unused with original edges and blade finish. The blade has some carbon spotting in a few areas, most notably near the choil below the RMK trademark. A great knife to have the shop square away, a short spa treatment and this one will look like a million bucks. You'll find light handling marks on the hilt and butt cap, nothing I’d consider an eyesore.

The Johnson roughback sheath is in great shape and has never been on a belt. The sheath with the Randall trademark on the back belt loop, you'll find an unused white print Combination Crystolon stone in the front pouch. Sheath stitching is tight, overall excellent condition with some storage stains on both sides and darkness at the throat and on the keeper strap. (from knife storage)

8 photos for review -- as shown, a new embroidered Randall Knives carry case is included. This is a super looking 1960's Randall fighter, quite nice with the lugged guard and commando leather handle. If you’re a fan of the TV Series “Happy Days”, the “Richard Cunningham” blade etching should put a smile on your face. Great knife... thanks and good luck.
