Summary: this is an older Randall Thorpe Bowie and what I assume to be the original Johnson roughback sheath. The knife exhibits NO use, blade is perfect. Tarnish / patina on the brass furniture (guard and scalloped hardware), you can see that Tom Clinton’s (RIP) collection sticker is still attached to the scalloped butt. Desirable handle material, and “Old Yeller” Bowie like this under a grand is a steal.
The black Johnson roughback sheath is in excellent+++ condition. No carry wear, just light handling marks and some creases in the keeper strap from knife storage. Marked 13 12 at the throat, an unused solid gray sharpening stone is in the front pouch.
8 photos for review – as shown, a new black canvas carry case is included. I don't sell too many of the larger Randall models, they're a pain in the ass to photograph and pack. That said, this old Thorpe Bowie out of the late Tom Clinton’s collection was worth the extra effort – it's a great knife to buy for collection / investment purposes. Definitely priced to sell -- thanks and good luck.
