Summary: this is an older model #2 with a 7" tool steel blade, brass guard, commando shaped leather handle, and duralumin butt cap with nut. The knife is in great shape for it's age but not perfect, there are a few light insertion scratches on the blade, and handling marks / dings on the brass hilt and duralumin butt cap. Original edges and blade finish, the handle looks good and is not all dried out. Overall, a very pretty knife.
The knife is paired to the original Johnson roughback sheath with unused yellow print combination crystolon sharpening stone in the front pouch. Overall condition of the sheath is excellent with tight stitching, you'll find light scuffs and such on both sides and a bit of darkness at the throat from past knife storage.
8 photos for review – as shown, an embroidered Randall Made Knives carry case is included. This is a great price on an older model 2 with crystolon stone, a great one to buy and tuck away for collection / investment purposes. Thanks and good luck.
