Summary: this is an ivory handled Randall model #2-5 and “pancake” style no-hone Johnson roughback sheath.

The knife has a 4-3/4" tool steel blade, double brass guard, scalloped collar and butt cap, and ivory handle with brass escutcheon plate. Condition is excellent: original blade edges and finish, you'll find a few carbon spots / very light handling marks on the blade, tarnish on the brass hardware including the escutcheon, and a crack in the ivory... front (logo) side that runs the length of the handle. Quite common with this handle material, don’t let that chase you away as this is a scarce knife!

The pancake-style no-hone Johnson sheath with handling / storage marks on both sides. Randall trademark stamp between the belt slits, keeper strap with a plain non logo snap. I’d rate overall condition at about a 8 on a scale of 1 to 10, stitching is tight and overall condition is excellent.

7 photos for review – as shown, an embroidered Randall knives carry case is included. This is a really neat boot knife with highly sought after ivory handle, even nicer to find one with a non-engraved escutcheon plate and scalloped hardware. This is a fair price on this ivory boot, it’ll clean up beautifully and would be a great piece for most any knife collection. Thanks and good luck.
