Summary: this is an older 5 spacer model #2 with a 7" tool steel blade, brass hilt and black micarta handle. The knife looks nearly perfect, the blade is spotless with original edges. I cleaned up the brass guard, the worst you'll find will be a few light wipe marks. The micarta handle has a really neat shape, not really commando shaped... looks more like a large fishtail. Overall, a very pretty knife.
The knife is paired to the original Johnson roughback sheath with unused plain salmon sharpening stone in the front pouch. Overall condition of the sheath is excellent+++ or better, just a few light scuffs and a very small dent at the throat from past knife storage. The roughback portion is quite nice, the sheath has obviously not been carried.
8 photos for review – as shown, a new embroidered Randall Made Knives carry case is included. This is a very fair price on an older model 2, a great one to buy and tuck away for collection / investment purposes. Condition is excellent -- thanks and good luck.
