Summary: this is an older Randall #20 Yukon Skinner with a 4-3/8" tool steel blade (notched for thumb placement), squared nickel silver hilt, 7 spacers, and a black micarta "Ward Gay" handle with unlined thong hole. The blade has been cleaned in the past, probably shop done. It was probably done quite some time ago, there are still a few light insertion marks on both sides of the blade. The hilt looks great, the spacers are clean. A few scratches on the handle, butt end with the unlined & chamfered thong hole.
The original Johnson roughback sheath has been carried, condition is probably around 7.5 to 8 on a scale of 1-10. Nothing out of the ordinary... simply carry / handling marks. Back side correctly stamped 20 below the RMK trademark, a lightly used gray combination sharpening stone in the front pouch.
9 photos for review – as shown, a new embroidered Randall Knives carry case is included. These original Ward Gay model 20's are quite hard to find, this one's in good shape compared to some of the others I've seen in the past. Perfect knife for use or to tuck away, you can do no wrong buying and having this one in your vintage RMK collection. Thanks and good luck.
