Description

This is a Vaughn Neeley SX Survival Folder #042, original hand-stitched belt sheath with handle removal tools, and new black suede carry case. The slabs are maroon micarta -- once removed, you'll find survival gear neatly stowed beneath under plastic covers. (hooks, sinker, Coachman fly, fishing line, snare line and compass) This custom survival folder has never been used, made in April of 2011 as shown in photo 7. Overall condition is excellent+++ or better with original edge, just a few light handling marks on the aluminum bolsters.

The hand-stitched leather sheath is original to the folder, Vaughn's stamp on the back. There are a few light rubs on the back, might be an issue for the hard nosed collector but should be no big deal for the other 98% of you. The knife is worth a hundred more, you can decide what a few rubs are worth.

7 photos for review -- I've included a new black suede carry case for safe storage. Hand made by Vaughn (retired Special Forces Veteran) who knows exactly what is necessary to stay alive in extreme wildnerness conditions -- this is the best of the best with respect to custom survival folders. Great price, these rarely come up for sale. Thanks and good luck.
