Summary: this is a fantastic looking fossil ivory handled hunter made by Jim Behring. This knife has a 4-1/2" blade, silver soldered nickel silver hilt, great looking spacer stack, and fabulous crow’s beak pinned fossil ivory handle. The handle coloring is awesome, finished to perfection and in near mint condition with just a few pencil tip sized spots on the blade only visible if you flip the knife in direct light.
The knife is paired to a custom pigskin finish belt sheath with front side hide insert. Made by Jack Mosher... you know the quality is AA++. Jack’s stamp on the back, the sheath is in near mint condition with just a dent at the throat from past knife storage.
6 photos for review – as shown, a custom Ostrich hide carry case and J. Behring patch both included. This is a great knife perfect for field use or collection purposes, this particular piece of fossil is just something else. The photos do this one no justice – it's drop dead gorgeous, razor sharp and ready to go. Priced to sell -- thanks and good luck.
