Summary: fabulous price on this Jim Behring camp hatchet. Call it a start of summer special, if it's not sold in a month then I'll take it out and hack things with it just to spite y'all for not buying it!

This custom hatchet has a 3-1/4" cutting edge, overall length is about 12-1/2". Jim built the hatchet with a brass hilt and long spacer stack, and finished it with an amazing piece of crown stag. There aren't many guys that can pull this off so well on a regular basis, the attention to detail and finish work is exceptional. The hatchet is very sharp, unused with original edge. Overall excellent+++ to near mint condition... a no brainer at $650.

The head cover was made by Jack Mosher, basket weave tooling all around and brass snaps to match the brass guard. Excellent+++ condition, just a bit of discoloration on the back belt loop... quite minor.

6 photos for review – as shown, a padded / faux fur lined gun case is included. This is a great piece at a great price – tuck it away or take it out and put it to work. Either way, if you think about it too long I guarantee you it will end up belonging to someone else. Thanks and good luck.
