Description

Please note: Scagel book shown in a few of the photos is NOT included.

Summary: this is a William Scagel replica book cover knife made by Jim Behring. The most recent one he’s made, this is serial #10. (see photo 5 for serial number location) Guys were damn near fighting for this knife in Tulsa, I grabbed it first and would not resell it there as I wanted it for my website. Jim made this beauty to mirror William Scagel’s knife as shown on the front cover of the Scagel book. Three words: God it’s gorgeous. Overall length is right at 12”, the spacer colors are a bit different than the cover knife but the pattern is pretty much the same. I can’t even imagine how much work must go in to a knife like this, everything is hand made and hand finished. Even the standard riveted sheath is painstakingly made right there in the Treeman shop.

Both the knife and sheath were made a couple of weeks ago, both in mint condition.

10 photos for review – as shown, a new Treeman Knives carry case and patch both included. This is the first replica cover knife I’ve had for sale, I’ve seen a couple of the others but they always sold before I could get to them. Don’t wait on this one, it’s not going to last long. Thanks and good luck.
