Description

Summary: another great find on a previously owned 50+ year old script signed Lile knife. There is so much good to say about this knife… don’t know where to start! Condition is amazing, it’s quite rare with the script on both sides… and the crown stag is to die for!

Script on the back reads:

In Appreciation to
Larry Watson
N M L R A Fall 1972
No 3 of 6

This one and the five others made were done for the National Muzzle Loading Rifle Association Fall shoot in 1972

This knife has an 8” double edged blade, brass guard, maroon / red spacers and above mentioned crown stag. Gorgeous knife, excellent condition with original edges. Blade width at the guard is 1-1/2”, 14-1/4’ overall.

The sheath is custom and was made by Jim Behring as I don’t believe any of these NMLRA knives came with leather. Custom made for the knife, mint condition.

8 photos for review – as shown, a black canvas case is included. This is a great knife / sheath package to tuck away for collection / investment purposes, I have not seen any crown stag toothpick’s quite this nice. Thanks and good luck.
