Summary: this is a previously owned and unused numbered Mad Dog YFA1 (Yavapai Firearms Academy) and ATAK sheath.
Internet reference: “The YFA KNIFE WAS MADE TO THE SPECS OF LOUIS AWERBUCK, SENIOR INSTRUCTOR AND OWNER OF THE YAVAPAI FIREARMS ACADEMY. LOUIS WANTED A STOUT BUT COMPACT KNIFE TO USE AT THE RANGE FOR CUTTING CARDBOARD, PRYING OPEN AMMO CRATES AND CUTTING STEEL BANDS OFF CRATES. HE DEFINED THE SIZE AND TIP GEOMETRY. THERE WERE A TOTAL OF 35 OF THESE NUMBERED KNIVES MADE.

Unused, the blade is pretty much perfect. The back side blade with the YFA emblem, also shop etched "MAD DOG YFA1 034" on the ricasso. Handle looks new, gorgeous condition.
