Summary: this is a very rare model TX lockback folding knife made by Timberline knives back in the 1980's. I spoke with Vaughn Neeley (one of the founders of Timberline Knives), he said a very limited number of these model TX's were made. (approximately 25) The knife has a 2-7/8" blade, dual thumb studs, flame treated titanium body, and absolutely stunning mother of pearl handle scales. (photos do the scales NO justice) Serial #046TX down inside the body, it's an amazing piece with perfect blade and original edge in near mint condition.
7 photos for review -- as shown, a folding knife carry case is included. My photos do the knife / pearl scales little or no justice, this little beauty is stunning in person. 30 years old and extremely rare, these custom mother of pearl Timberline's seldom come up for sale. Thanks and good luck.
