Description
Summary: this is a great looking Montana-made Nessmuk Skinner made by James Behring, Jr. No doubt a transition knife made right when James was moving from his blade stamp over to the BMK stamp. (blade with Behring, Jr. stamp, sheath with BMK stamp)
This knife has a 4" blade, custom cerakote guard, short stack, and super nice deep cut pinned stag handle with a copper pin. Perfect in either hand with the overall length a hair over 8-1/2”, the knife is in mint condition.
The knife is paired to the original Warlander pouch sheath with brown stitching and front side tooling. The knife / sheath fit is perfect, condition easily excellent+++ or better with nothing but light handling.
8 photos for review – as shown, a new black canvas carry case is included. This is a heck of a nice knife for the money, perfect for hunting / skinning / field use. I personally love the Nessmuk grind, this particular piece is one of those knives that if you saw at a table at a show you would pick it up and say, “oooh, fuck… tell me about this one”. I guarantee the knife will work well for you, it’s a looker and checks all of the boxes. Thanks and good luck.
