Description

Summary: this is a near 40 year old original Jack Crain Bowie knife made to commemorate the Texas Sesquicentennial 1836-1986 and is... wait for it... the PROTOTYPE. The photos tell the story... it's awesome.

The knife features a 8-7/8" satin finish blade and is 14-1/8" overall length. Made from 1/4" blade stock with false (unsharpened) upper clip, stainless fittings and a beautiful custom wood handle. Blade markings and etching as shown in the photos, I've no idea if any other "DALLAS" Bowie knives were made.

Unused, near mint condition. Lined wood display box included.

9 photos for review -- this is an incredibly rare Bowie commemorating the great state of Texas that Jack lived in. A centerpiece in most every movie knife collection…. thanks and good luck.
