Description

Summary: a gorgeous Scagel-style skinner made by James Behring, Jr. while working with his dad in Michigan. This is a prototype with 6-1/4” P-stamped blade, brass guard, kick ass spacer stack and gorgeous crown stag handle. This is a large skinning knife that feels great in either hand, overall length is approximately 11-3/8”. This knife has been tucked away since new and is in mint condition.

The knife is paired to the original horsehide leather pouch sheath made by Jack Mosher. Front and back side tooling, exceptional quality and in mint condition.

7 photos for review – as shown, the knife ships in a new black canvas carry case. This is an early investment grade prototype that would be perfect to tuck away for investment purposes, you’ll be hard pressed to find a nicer Scagel-style knife. Thanks and good luck.
