Description

Summary: a very nice looking knife made by James Behring, Jr. while in Michigan prior to his move to Montana. The knife is unused and the sheath never carried -- fit and finish second to none. The overall length of the knife is 10-7/8" -- the 6-1/4" blade is razor sharp. The knife has been fitted with a double brass guard, short spacer stack, and pinned stag handle with compass. Condition is excellent, I did notice a few pin sized carbon spots on the blade but they’re not very visible until you turn the blade in direct light.

The knife is paired with the original Sullivan sheath. Stone pouch with plain salmon stone on the front -- the makers stamp and “J. Behring Made” on the back belt loop. Condition is excellent with a few small scuffs and a line at the throat from past knife storage.

8 photos for review -- as shown, a new black canvas carry case included. All things considered, this is one hell of a bargain on such a sweet looking early (Michigan-made) Behring, JR. fighting knife. Thanks and good luck.
