Summary: a vintage 1950’s Randall model #1-6 with tool steel blade, double brass hilt, stacked leather handle, and duralumin butt cap with nut & lanyard. This knife has obviously been used and sharpened (sparingly so), a perfect knife for one of you guys (or girls) looking for a short-bladed Korean-war era model 1 for your collection. You'll find scratches / staining on the blade, dings on the guard, scratches and dings on the duralumin butt. The leather is in good shape, the nut hasn’t been messed with but there is some movement in the butt cap. (probably from leather shrinkage over the years)

The brown button Heiser sheath is in excellent condition for it’s age, quite nice and probably never on a belt. The sheath is correctly stamped 1 6 above the Randall trademark on the back belt loop -- you'll find a solid gray stone (no print visible) in the front pouch. Photos tell the story with respect to sheath condition, it's in great shape with just a few light scuffs and verdigris on the keeper from past knife storage. Snaps function as they should, no issues.

10 photos for review -- as shown, an old style RMK carry case is included. All said and done, this is a super cool vintage 6" Randall fighting knife with awesome blade grind! Definitely a keeper, a top shelf knife for your Randall or military fighting knife collection. Thanks and good luck.
