Summary: a prototype "Skyhook" knife, one of only a handful of this model that were made. This knife has a 3-1/4" cerakote blade and border patrol brown canvas micarta handle with lanyard, made from 1/4" stock with an overall length of 8". Mint condition, stamped "USA PROTOTYPE" on the ricasso.
The knife is paired to a black Mosher pouch sheath with basket weave tooling. Knife / sheath fit is snug, the sheath is in mint condition.
7 photos for review – as shown, a black J. Behring Handmade carry case is included. Jim originally made a handful of these for Seal "HALO" members to be used to cut parachute cord under load, this model never went in to production. (I was lucky enough to end up with three of the prototypes) A neat model worthy of a look or two, razor sharp and extremely comfortable in hand. Two have sold, this is the last one I have for sale. Thanks and good luck.
