Summary: another really nice camp knife made by Jim Behring in 2021. This once has a more traditional camp knife blade grind; like the other for sale, well under retail and one hell of a buy at $625.

This knife has an 8” blade made from 3/16” stock, overall length is 14-1/2”. Jim made this knife with a large double brass guard and long spacer stack, finished with a really nice piece of crotch stag. Lined for and comes with the leather lanyard shown, it should help to keep this beast in your hand when in use. Excellent+++ to near mint, you’ll find nothing but a couple of very light insertion marks on the blade only visible in direct light.

The riveted sheath with giraffe front panel was also made right there at the Treeman shop. A loop on the back for a thigh lanyard, the knife / sheath fit is perfect. A few small scuffs on the back, easily excellent+++ or better.

6 photos for review – as shown, a large black carry case is included. The photos tell the story but the knife is better in person, priced very fairly for what you’re getting. This is one hell of a chopper, perfect for just about everything imaginable around the camp site. Thanks and good luck.
