Description

Summary: this is a William Scagel replica camp knife made by Jim Behring. The most recent one he’s made, this one serial #15. The original Scagel camp knife can be seen on Page 139 in the Scagel book, Jim pretty much nailed the blade grind and even finished it off with custom etching and serial number. Jim’s rendition has a longer handle, I’d imagine much more functional that the original knife. I can’t even begin to tell you how much work goes in to a knife like this, everything is hand made and hand finished. Even the custom riveted sheath is painstakingly made right there in the Treeman shop.

Both the knife and sheath were made a couple of weeks ago, both in mint condition.

9 photos for review – as shown, a new Treeman Knives carry case and patch both included. I recently sold the serial #08 & #09 knives, snatched this one off Jim’s table in Tulsa so fast it’d make your head spin. So, from Michigan > Oklahoma > California > to you. Check it out... it’s a steal at $795. Thanks and good luck.
