Description

Summary: this is a William Scagel replica camp knife made by Jim Behring. One of the most recent one he’s made, this one serial #16 but I also have #17 to list after this one sells. The original Scagel camp knife can be seen on Page 139 in the Scagel book, Jim pretty much nailed the blade grind and even finished it off with custom etching and serial number. Jim’s rendition has a longer handle, I’d imagine much more functional that the original knife. I can’t even begin to tell you how much work goes in to a knife like this, everything is hand made and hand finished. Even the custom riveted sheath is painstakingly made right there in the Treeman shop, Jim even signed and numbered it.

Both the knife and sheath were made a couple of weeks ago, both in mint condition.

6 photos for review – as shown, a new Treeman Knives carry case is included. I’ve sold a few of these in the last couple of months, rec’d this one and #17 directly from Jim last week. So, from Michigan > California > to you... short ownership trail! Check it out... these are a steal at $795 each. Thanks and good luck.

NOTE: IF YOU WANT BOTH #16 AND #17 LET ME KNOW IN ADVANCE, I CAN ADJUST THE SHOPPING CART AND I WILL PAY SHIPPING.
